COMO AQUECER?
As tortillas nunca se comem frias! Aquece bem as tortillas dos dois lados numa frigideira quente, e coloca o recheio depois, para evitar parti-las, ou envolve-as num pano limpo para as manter quentinhas.
Tortillas are always served hot! Heat both sides on a hot pan, then make your taco or quesadilla, to avoid breaking them, or wrap them in a clean cloth to keep them warm.
COMO ARMAZENAR?
Vê a etiqueta. Se tiver conservantes, podes guardá-las num sítio fresco e seco. Depois de abertas ou se não tiverem conservantes, guarda-as embaladas no frigorífico para evitar que sequem.
Check the label. If they have preservatives, you can store them in a cool, dry place. After open of if preservatives-free, keep sealed in the fridge to prevent drying out.

O QUE É NIXTAMALIZAÇÃO?
A nixtamalização é um processo ancestral de cocção e maceração do milho em água e cal, melhorando o sabor, a textura, o aroma e o valor nutricional do grão. A POP! só usa farinha de milho nixtamalizado.
Nixtamalization is an ancient process of cooking and soaking corn in water with lime. This improves the flavor, texture, aroma and nutritional value of the grain. POP! only uses nixtamalized corn flour.

A POP! Tortillas foi fundada por Yoann (Mexicano, que sonhava com isto há 20 anos+) e Pedro (Português, um tortillero nato) e começou a produzir autênticas tortillas de milho em 2022. A fábrica está atualmente localizada em Lisboa.
